What is Crushin' For A Cause?

Crushin’ For A Cause is back for the third year! Developed by Atlanta Braves Prospect Tyler Tolve in conjunction with The 6-4-3 Foundation and SagerStrong Foundation, this celebrity home run derby features a mix of major and minor league hitting talent as well as non-hitters who come together to raise money for youth sports participation and blood cancer research. These are 2 important causes for Tolve who has played baseball since he was 4 and whose father is in remission from multiple myeloma.

Back this year is the Prep Baseball GA Amateur Home Run Derby. This portion of the event showcases some of the areas best 13U and 14U hitters!

Will there be a chance for autographs?

Yes! We will share that information at the event.

What organizations does the event benefit?

The 6-4-3 Foundation: The 6-4-3 Foundation’s mission is to enhance the lives of children and families through sports. The foundation accomplishes this goal by funding grants and scholarships to organizations and individuals for the sole purpose of providing equity in access to sports. In addition, The 6-4-3 Foundation uses a love of sports to rally young athletes around projects that impact the community as a whole. Since 2013, the foundation has put
$515,000 towards programs and initiatives as well as contributed countless hours of community service.

SagerStrong Foundation: SagerStrong Foundation’s mission is Giving Hope to Those Who Need It Most! Craig and Stacy Sager started the SAGERSTRONG Foundation in the hope that, one day, leukemia patients and their families will never have to go through the battle they have endured. The SagerStrong Foundation is dedicated to Funding Blood Cancer Research and raising awareness of blood cancers. Since 2016, the foundation has raised nearly 2.5 million for groundbreaking research and programming, working tirelessly to give hope to those who need it most!
